Data collection & Outreach
Doing What’s Needed
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying issues at the grass-root level and developing innovative ways to solve them. We gather qualitative and quantitative data and use that information to influence local policy and decision-making process.
We conduct surveys for rural communities and youth especially those from vulnerable categories in their respective local languages to understand the issues in their local communities. We also conduct awareness sessions during the survey collection. We then analyze the surveys and come up with solutions sometimes with local partners to solve some of the issues. We also try to have discussions with local leaders and we try to influence the local policy and decision-making process using the data and the voices of the people.
We have partnered with the United Nations MY World Global survey to collect initial response for this initiative. Along with their survey, we also use our personalized surveys to understand the issues in depth. Till date, we have collected surveys from 10000+ people and have helped improve their conditions.
